Whether you’re a debut author, the manager of an author estate, or seeking a new publisher,
we’d love to hear from you. 


With a growing list we’re always commissioning new titles. Whether it’s backlist, out-of-print, or yet-to-be-published books, we’d be happy to receive your submission. Before submitting, have a good read through the following information to make sure your submission follows our guidelines – we’re not that strict but, due to the level of submissions we receive, if it doesn’t fit then it may not be read.

Cover letter

Please send one email for your entire submission, including a brief cover letter in the body of your email. This should include an elevator pitch for your book(s), a short 150-word bio, and links to all author websites and social media platforms. The bio should include only relevant information, including previous publications, and any review quotes that may be available.


Attached to your email should be two Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF documents: 1. A one-page (or 500-word) synopsis; and 2. The first 10,000 words of your manuscript. They should be in size 12, Times New Roman font, with 1.5 or double line spacing and include contact information for the author/agent/estate on the front page. Check thoroughly for errors before sending.


If you are sending a proposal for a series, please send us the first book in the series, or the first book that has yet to be published. Do also let us know if you are submitting your work elsewhere as well.


Once you are ready to submit, please send your email to our publishing director, James Faktor. Due to the number of submissions we receive, it may be several weeks before you hear from us, but we do try to respond to everyone. If you have not heard from us within eight weeks, please send a brief follow-up email in the form of a reply to the original submission.
